The Weather Outside is Frighful but My Blanky is Delightful!!

Pijo is keeping warm during the holidays! And, he reminded me to mention if you have any distribution contacts – even Netflix, Vudu or Amazon because they are acquiring new content – send them to Romanus@DoggieBoogieMovie.com

Pijo takes a frolic on the beach – perfect weather, wonderful friends and a ball. What more could a dog want?

A friend just sent this picture of Pijo and Myself on vacation. We will always be connected.

We love the world!!

My guest on “Talking Animals” Nov. 9 will be JANE WIEDLIN, The Go-Go’s singer-guitarist and longtime animal rights activist–she’s worked on PETA projects of one kind or another for more than 20 years.

Now living in San Francisco, Jane lends her support to multiple animal rescues, among them Muttville, a San Francisco-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs–namely, finding homes for those in shelters, particularly the ones facing euthanasia.

She also juggles a number of other projects and pursuits, including acting (she stars in the forthcoming film, “Doggie Boogie,” for which she also wrote the title song), works on a comic book series she co-created, “Lady Robotika,” and is an ordained minister who officiates at weddings.

A link for information on the show is here:

The main thing that makes her good TV and movie and stage play material is that she knows how to relax and listen.
Wonderful article about what it takes for a dog to work in showbiz. “Dogs that are too easily distracted or too hyper aren’t likely to make it in show biz. Yes, they need energy to look lively for their scenes, but their most important quality is concentration.”

Each colour of the aura has a meaning, indicating a precise emotional state.

In Iran the aura is known as farr or “glory”: it is depicted in association with Zoroastrian kings.

Pijo and I were looking for something to do with our leftover pumkins and found a great recipe for using it to make a dog treats. It doesn’t use Pumpkin Puffs from our movie Doggie Boogie – but is still tasty I am sure.
